& a ...SEXY New Year !!!

What a STUDD ...!

The following posts made me drool all over them...
I HAD TO HAVE THIS LEATHER STUDDED SKIRT

...and it's finally MINE!

Who needs a STUD, when you got STUDDS!

B-Uggs

GUILTY AS CHARGED !

They might be OLD NEWS, and quite unflattering, but I can't help but love them since they keep my feet warm, and in them - it effing feels like walking on CLOUDS!

I was given my first ones as a gift for my name day, 3 years ago after going manic about them.

Having watched Sienna Miller matching them with her underwear ONLY in ''Alfie'' while painting, made it binding for me to GET them!

Dreamy as it sounds (...for Sienna), I've never tried the above mentioned...
I wore my first chestnut ones everywhere though (FYI: they're still wearable), some tall black ones followed, and those GREY ones are my latest babies!

Being called ''PUSS IN BOOTS''
NEVER SOUNDED BETTER....!

I'm BACK!

Dust, holes, & scratches
...words that come into anyone's mind when it comes to: OLD SHOES!

Shinny, Red & Marc
words representing MY idea of: OLD SHOES!

Having decided to make full use of my current wardrobe, and SLIGHTLY (...who am I kidding?) cut down on my shopping expenses, I dug those last year beauties out of my closet, and actually wore them without considering them way too ''PASSE''

Wearing something ...2008 , made it mandatory to combine something VERY 2009 with it!
Shoulder pads may be more 1980 than 2009, yet with them being OVERUSED in most catwalks I couldn't but love them all over again, and find new respect for what it has been characterized ''Fashion Crime'' in the past!

Harking back to the 1980s the look has the added advantage of whittling waists and hips by balancing
out the silhouette.

Celebrities have been quick to embrace the trend!
Early adopters include Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyoncé and Rihanna, who have all worn Balmain versions.

I am already in love with my padded blazer on the left, and I got myself a shirt as well!
God bless ZARA!

... & it hasn't left my wrist ever since!
TOUS bags might be tacky , TOUS jewelry though can't get any cutter!

Tentacles of ... JOY!

Remember those up-tight fashion shows were people involved can't even breathe dealing with every minor detail that could possibly go wrong?

FORGET ABOUT THEM!
WE'RE IN GREECE P-E-O-P-L-E!

...a huge flood formed in the area were fashion week runs all the events, it's nothing to worry about.
Instead, you may bring your floating octopus with ya, and play around with it!
ESPECIALLY if you're a designer on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of the upcoming show!

DElight brought those DElighted tentacles backstage, and I embraced it!
....well you know me, total sucker for anything childish!

Octopus was skinnier than the models at the beginning...

& carbohydrates started entering its body slowly...

the designer-duo did their best to make it look healthier...

& here it is chubbier than ever...

Floating peacefully in the middle of the flood , contemplating why the hell women obsess so much about their weight, & admiring his gorgeous/brand new/chubby tentacles!

Too bad those fashion-week people totally disregard the kid inside them, and they've immediately put poor DEL-octopus in detention!
The kid inside wasn't the only one disregarded by them though , the flood was too....

Who should be in detention NOW?

Delight-oscope!

One kaleidoscope & two fresh designers

-SUCCESS GRANTED-

...from me at least, ( and most fellow bloggers) being quite familiar with that item with a kaleidoscope enthusiast-mom, owing many of those.

Kaleidoscopes come in various color combination and DElight (the designer duo in
question) used my favorite one - PASTELS!

Baby pink, baby blue and all those UNDERAGED colors made their clothes delicious & me -way too eager- to waste all my money on them
(though WASTE is the most inappropriate word to use)

Once again I was backstage with my blogger friends, missing the actual show, yet being able to see up-close, touch & feel the clothes, which for me is far more important!
Dressing up the models wasn't bad either, Barbie addicts like me would agree that it was exactly like playing with dolls!

The collection: colorful, playful ... full in all aspect!
I hate cliche phrases yet...I WANT THEM ALL!

Model I was in charge of: KORDULA!
Austrian beauty & the sweetest girl ever, working with her was a bliss!

Hairdressers had nothing to do!
Here you see them filling their time correcting -perfect- hair!
Wise hairdo-choice & overly helpful for us backstagers , THANK ya DElight!

Lopi watching the sweetest Greek model -Ismini- getting dressed, and models having their clothes steamed by stylish Stellina! Delight were more than perfectionists!

Lighten up Ismini, you 're quite a catwalker (no actual cats involved)!

Is it my impression or model's weight in 2009 is healthier?
Last minute stress!

To rap it up, this was my favorite backstage experience , not only because the clothes fit my taste, & I am telling ya, one day I'll be posting my new delight dress here, but also because the girls made our life much easier with them being more organized than all designers I've worked with so far!

Once AGAIN: Congrats girlz, & .....all the Best!

Fashion week - Day 1

Who was AGAIN backstage in some fashion shows?
I was!
...along with partner a) Hari K. & partner b) Lopi!

Julia Bergovich & Sooo... (Katerina Alexandraki) were the shows in question!

Take a glimpse of the backstage frenzy
(& the gorgeous models who were shorter than I had them in mind).

Who said dogs can't be runway material?

Bad runway hair day? AIN'T NO SUCH THING!

.... AND of course, ME (look&posture---> ''Feeling awkward to be taken pics'')
& my geeky gal pals, Lopi & Hari on the job!!!

p.s: Special thanx to Lopi for sending some pics my way, cause my phone/camera decided to operate at the beginning , and at the end of the show!
